Theme: YOU FRIEND IS A DISCIPLE?
Reading: Y’ochanan 15:14-27
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I mando.15 no longer call you servants, for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 This, I send unto you, That ye love one another. 18 If the world hates you, know that first than you, I hated myself. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, which is why the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; whether kept my word, he will keep yours also. 21 But all this you will for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, had not had sin: but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 He who hates me hates my Father also 24 If I had not done among them such works, which no one else did, they would not have sin, but now not only seen, but also hated both me and my Father 25 But this is to be fulfilled the word that is written in the Torah: They hated me without a cause. 26 When the Helper comes, whom I will send from the Father, the Spirit of truth, he shall testify of me; 27 and you also are witnesses, because you have been with me from the beginning.
The priest and the prophet Samuel said to Sha’ul son of Kis, who YERROH the pleasure of the eternal God, is the one who obeys his word, it is useless to say who is a friend of Yerroshu ‘the Messiah, if not practice its teachings. (As for the wicked, says the eternal YERROH: because recite my laws and have your lips in the words of my alliance? Thou that abhorrest any discipline and renegas My words! Ps. 50:16,17.) Many find the beautiful Yerroshu words’ and want to use them as if they were popular sayings, jokes or ballroom.
