Theme: A BLESSING TO THE MONTE Gerezim
Reading: Y’ochanan 4:1-24
When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that he was making and baptizing disciples but that Y’ochanan 2 (though Yeshu ‘himself baptized not, but his disciples), 3 He left yehudeia, and another was time for the Galil. 4 And he must needs go through Shomrom (Samaria). 5 Then cometh he to a city of Shomrom, called Sychar, near the field that gave to his son Ya’acov Yoseh; 6 found themselves there’s well Ya’acov. Yehoshu ‘tired of the journey sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. 7 There cometh a woman of Shomrom água.Disse take him Yehoshu ‘, Give me to drink. 8 For His disciples had gone into town to buy comida.9 told him then the woman Shomrom: How is it that you yehudin, ask a drink of me, which am a woman (of Shomrom) Samaritan? (Because Yehudim not communicate with the Shomrom). 10 And you Yehoshu ‘: If you knew the gift of God who is eternal and that saith to thee, Give me to drink,’ you would have asked him and he would have given thee living water. 11 told him his wife: Lord, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 12 Art thou greater than our father Ya’acov, who gave us the well, which it himself and his sons, and his cattle? 13 answered him Yehoshu ‘: Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst; 15 the woman told him: Lord, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. 16 Yehoshu told him ‘Go, call your husband and come here. 17 The woman said, I have no husband. I told him Yehoshu ‘Thou hast well said I have no husband: 18 For five husbands;’ve had, and now hast is not thy husband: this; was truly said. 19 told him his wife: Lord, I see you are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Yehoshaléym is the place to be love. 21 told him Yeshu ‘: Woman believe me, the hour cometh, when neither in this mountain, nor worship the Father in Yehoshaláym 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of yehudin. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to adorem.24 Y’HWH; Man is the Spirit, and it is necessary that who worship him, must worship in spirit and in truth.
Shomrom was the main city of the ten tribes revolted in the reign of Rovam son Sh’lomom.
Passing through the valley, tired from the trip, Yerroshu ‘Messiah sat beside the can of Y’acov, the valley was flanked by hills and Gerezim Heval.
Yehoshu ‘instructed the woman saying YERROH the eternal God is a Spirit, it is worth highlighting a spirit to be palpated and needs a body, He Yehoshu’ is the body that the verb YERROH manifested and dwelt among us.
By telling his disciples that they were entering the work of others in the harvest, Yerroshu ‘made mention of Moshe and the prophets.
