Source Scroll Yehoshu ‘Messiah
Reading: Rom.13 :1-14
Every person is subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which the eternal God, and those who are ordained by the eternal God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of the eternal God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to those who do right, but for those who do evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do good, and you will have praise from the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good eternal. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bucket the sword: for he is the minister of the everlasting God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth mal.5 Therefore it is necessary that they be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience sake. 6 For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are minis-ters of the eternal God, attending to this mesmo.7 Render to all what is due him: tribute to whom tribute, custom to whom custom; whom fear; fear, honor to whom honor. 8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another, for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Torah. 9 Indeed: Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, do not covet, and if there be any other commandment, it is summed up in this word: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself mesmo.10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbor. So love is the fulfilling of the law. 11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer to us than when we became crentes.12 The night is far spent, the day is at dispamo us therefore, the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of luz.13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day: not in rioting and drink deiras, not in strife and inveja.14 But put ye on the Lord Yehoshu ‘the Messiah; and have no care in the lusts of the flesh.
Scrolls of the apostles is the Good News of salvation, the Law Yerroshu ‘the Messiah; them are contained their cults, dogmas, rites and doctrines that give strength to those who practice them.
The text under consideration relates acts of the authorities of the common, but they have divine approval, they serve to maintain discipline and even punishment to the wrongdoer.
It is common to see between religious preachers or teachers who are talking about great confidence to hear that, but they buy and do not pay, act like crooks, swindlers and other misdeeds used to enrich easy, but the Scroll says: Owe no one anything.
The text also reminds that the ten commandments given in the Old Covenant is reiterated in new legislation in the Law of the Messiah. (See: Mt.5 :21-49)
