Reading: Y’ochanan. 2:1-29
1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not: but if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Yehoshu ‘the Messiah, the righteous. 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only but also for the whole world.3 And hereby we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5 but whoever keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected eterno.E know it we are in him: 6 He that saith he is in him must walk as Jesus did. 7 Beloved, I write no new commandment, but an old commandment which ye had from the princípio.Este old commandment is the word which ye hear. 8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is passing away and the true light now shineth. 9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness until now. 10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is no stumbling. 11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. 12 Little children, I write to you, because your sins are forgiven you for His Name’s sake, 13 parents, I write to you, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. Young, I write to you, because you have overcome the evil one. 14 I write to you, children, because you know the Father I write to you fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of the eternal God remains in you, and you have overcome the evil one. 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of Almighty God remains forever. 18 Little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that the abominable, as abominable many are gone, for we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us but were not of us: for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us: but they went out that revealed that none of us. 20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21 not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and because no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Yehoshu ‘is the Messiah? This is the same abominable who denies, the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledges the Son has the Father also 24 So what you heard from the beginning, abide in you. If you stay on what they heard from the beginning, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father 25 And this is what he promised us, even eternal life. 26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27 And as for you, the anointing which you received from him is in you, and you have no need that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is truth, and is no lie, as it has taught you, abide in him. 28 And now, little children, abide in him, that when he appears we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 29 If you know that He is righteous, know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of him.
After doing some exhortations testifying that he Yerroshu ‘whom his hands have handled, of the Word of life, the apostle makes Y’ocrranan see that, when talking saying that if anyone sins, we have an attorney, he was not encouraging the practice of sin, but giving the tripping an opportunity for repentance.
We should not think Yerroshu know ‘if not practice his commandments written by the apostles. Y’oc. 15:14.
The disciple of Yerroshu ‘can not proceed according to the course of this common world, because it belongs to the spiritual world of truth, justice and light.
By saying went out from us, Y’ocrranan made mention of the apostasy of the congregation, while in the fourth century, some were after Satan
