Leit.Yehuda: 1-25.
Yehuda, servant of Yehoshu ‘the Messiah, and brother of Ya’acov, to those called, beloved of God the Father, and kept in Yehoshw’ the Messiah. 2 Mercy, peace and love be multiplied to you. 3 Beloved, as I used all diligence to write unto you concerning common salvation, to feel the need to write to you, exhorting you to fight for the faith that was once delivered to the saints. 4 For certain men, who have long been destined for this judgment, have slipped in, impotent men, who turn the grace of our God into dissolution, and deny our only Lord and Lord, Yehwshw the Messiah. 5 Now I want to remind you, though you have known all this once and for all, that when YEHWH saved a people from the land of Egypt, they destroyed those who did not believe; 6 to the angels who did not keep their principality, but left their own dwelling, he has reserved them in eternal jails in the darkness for the judgment of the great Day, 7 as well as Tsidom and Morah, and the surrounding cities; prostituted as those angels, and gone after other flesh, were set as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire. 8 Nevertheless, these false teachers likewise, dreaming, defile their flesh, reject all authority, and blaspheme the dignities. 9 But when the archangel Mikha’el, disputing with the Devil, disputed concerning Mosheh’s body, he dared not pronounce judgment on him in the Curse, but said: The Lord rebuke thee. 10 But these men blaspheme all that they do not understand; and in what they naturally understand as irrational beings, even in this they are corrupted. 11 Woe to them! Because they went by the way of Káim, and for the love of the profit they threw themselves to the error of Bilam, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. 12 These are the stones in your feasts, when they feast with you, shepherds who feed themselves without fear; they are clouds without water, carried by the winds; it is a tree without leaves or fruit; twice dead; uprooted; 13 furious waves of the sea, foaming their own foolishness; wandering stars, to whom the blackness of darkness is forever reserved. 14 And Hanoch, the seventh after Adon, prophesied to them, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with his thousands of his saints, 15 to execute judgment upon all men, and to convince all the wicked of all ungodly deeds which they have done wickedly, and of all the harsh words that sinners have sinned against him. 16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking according to their lusts; and his mouth says very arrogant things, flattering people for the sake of interest. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words that were foretold by the apostles of Yehoshw the Messiah; 18 And they said to you, In the last times there shall be scoffers, walking after their wicked lusts. 19 These are they that cause divisions; are sensual, and do not have the Spirit. 20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Spirit; the saint; 21 Keep yourselves in the love of the everlasting God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Yehoshu ‘the Messiah for eternal life. 22 And have compassion upon some who are in doubt, 23 and save them, and take them out of the fire; and of others have mercy with fear, abominating even the tunic stained by the flesh. 24 And to him that is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you to his glory, unblemished and joyful, 25 to the only God our Savior, through Yehwshw ‘the Messiah our Lord, glory, majesty, dominion, and power, before all ages, and now, and for ever and ever. So be it.
COMMENT
Myriam begot Yosef the prince carpenter, sons and daughters as read in: Luc. 8: 21-22 and Mat. 13:55.
Sha’ul, when he spoke of his apostolate to the Congregation in Galatia, said: “I SAID NOT ANY OF THE APOSTLES, SENT TO YA’ACOV, THE BROTHER OF THE LORD.” Gal.1: 19.
When declaring in his work to be Ya’acov’s brother, Yehuda contributed much to the understanding on this so great subject.
